MISSION AD GENTES TRIENNIAL REPORT

As regards the activities of this sector, we have the usual activities per local communities such as: services to our poor young (immersion, share a gift, visitations, sharing of time and material help to calamity victims, etc ) mission collection, and Pondo ng Pinoy, bonding of the missionary group members in the Archdiosece of Manila, and attending Seminars and Convocations also in Metro Manila . Here is the run down of the events taken and participated by the Mission Ad Gentes at the local and Provincial levels.

     1. Catechesis through CLE classes on Pondo ng Pinoy –(Province)

     2. Echo of all the Pondo ng Pinoy Seminar – local

     3. Integration of the Pondo ng Pinoy to Our CLE classes – local

     4. Echo Seminar East Asian Seminar on Missionary Spirituality – Don Bosco Makati – July 17, 2005 ( Mission Ad Gentes Team and DBS mission group)

     5. Documenting through Power point presentation of all our Filipina missionaries’ work and mission all over the world –Mission Ad Gentes Team – still on going

     6. PNG Awareness : Power Point Presentation(local)- Oct.2006

     7. Solidarity with the Victims of flashfloods , a number of typhoons, fire – material and financial – Aurora, Bicol, Leyte – November – 2005 – 2006

     8. Attended a Symposium on Profiling A Missionary Volunteer in Don Bosco Makati October 16, 2006 – Sr. Veny and Sr. Sharon with the DBS Missionary group and Student Leaders, Novices, Postulants (Salesian Family)

     9. Visit to some calamity and poverty stricken areas in Metro Manila and Bicol Province by our sisters and teachers. 2006-2007
