The Mother Maddalena Morano Educational Foundation of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Inc. continues to be the financial support arm of the educational activities of the province. It raises funds for scholarships through dissemination of brochures at the local, national and international levels. Most of the donors are individuals and relatives of the Sisters who are willing to share whatever they can in a spirit of solidarity with the poor. Regular foreign donors are from the USA, Italy and Japan. Donations received by the province also for educational purposes are turned over to the foundation. Likewise, the foundation also legalizes the donations received by the different communities. For the years 2003-2006, 652 students, mostly young women, benefited from the scholarship.
