The Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco) is a religious congregation whose charism is the Christian education and formation of the young especially the poorest through the educative style of Don Bosco's Preventive System which is based on reason, religion and loving-kindness.

It was founded by St. John Bosco and St. Mary Domenica Mazzarello on August 5, 1872 in Mornese, Italy.

The small seed blossomed into a fruitful tree that has spread its missionary presence in 89 countries all over the world, with nearly 15,000 FMA (Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice) Sisters living and working with the young in an educative presence characterized by the Salesian Preventive System.

In 1955, the Salesian Sisters arrived in the Philippines. After almost five decades of its educative presence in the country, they could now be found in 17 communities in Luzon and Visayas and 2 communities in Papua New Guinea. They involve themselves in various forms of apostolic presences such as the oratory youth centers, catechetical apostolate, schools, streetchildren, boarding houses, student centers and technology centers, and in many other various forms of human-social promotion such as medical-dental and livelihood programs.
